STRINGBAND

We all met playing fiddle music at music festivals up and down the eastern seaboard, and we love playing the music that’s closest to our roots. Our usual stringband configuration features Laura Murawski and Brian Slattery on fiddles, Maggie Shar on banjo, Molly Merrett on guitar, and Charlie Shaw on bass. We’ve released two albums of fiddle tunes, Screech Plank and Screech Plank II, as well as a fiddle-banjo duet album, Sally Ann.

We also love playing square dances, and have played them in Massachusetts and Vermont with callers Don Stratton and Will Mentor.
